Fast Friends - An Experiment in Social Networking

Aas part of my never-ending quest to network with everyone in the world, I have decided to take on a fun experiment.

I will have coffee, lunch, dinner or drinks with one new person every day for three weeks, tentatively longer. Nothing business-ish, no hidden agenda - just good ol’ fashion conversin’.

So, starting December 7 and running through January 7 (possibly longer), I will be meeting with these new people and sharing what I gained from the conversation through my blog. If you’re in the area and you want to meet up, leave a comment saying which day and whether you want to grab coffee, lunch, dinner or drinks with me! Filling up fast!

Cheryl - How about the 20th. It looks like it’s open. Coffee in the morning would be good. I can get out and knock out some Christmas shopping after.

Let me know the place and time - I’ll be there.

    Hey, Cheryl,

Thanks for the invite. How about Monday, Dec. 29? I’m flexible as of now on time of day … so just let me know what works best for you and whether you prefer to meet up for lunch (preferably at or near OSU where I work) or for coffee/drinks afterward wherever.

I tried this same experiment years ago

Only instead of conversation it was sloppily making out on my roomates bed

and instead of interesting intelligent people from the internet

it was the nursing home nurses, and even then I had to buy them dinner
