This weekend was Startup Weekend Columbus, an opportunity for innovative people with skillsets ranging from programing to PR to get together and try to launch a company in a few short days.
My great team included Jason Blanton, Laura Rees, Michael Paull, Brian Jones, Daniel Fox, Lizann Fragiotta, Marwan Saleh, Amy Johnson, Eric Ralph, Kevin Pfefferle, Earl LeVere Umang Patel, Brian Link, Angela Siefer and Christine Chaffin.
So what was our startup? Milton! Milton is a hosted solution for microbusinesses to manage their financials, contacts and sales pipeline, and projects. Check out the website - a work in progress!
Overall, Startup Weekend was an amazing experience for me. I met a lot of great new people and learned a lot about business and myself. It was exhausting but I was extremely sad to see it end.
