Twitter Users - Blame your problems on Drew’s Cancer!

When I saw someone on Twitter blame eating too much on Drew’s cancer, I was mildly intrigued.

When I saw someone blame their stalker on Drew’s cancer, I had to learn more.

“On May 20th, 2009, Drew Olanoff was diagnosed with cancer: Hodgkins Lymphoma. Ever since that day, Drew has blamed everything on his cancer. Losing his keys, misplacing his wallet, Twitter being slow, the Phillies losing, etc. Why? Because you have to beat up on Cancer to win… and you can help out. Blame Drew’s Cancer for anything and everything you want. Tweet with the hashtag #BlameDrewsCancer and it’ll come here. We’ll keep a tally and hopefully when all is said and done and Drew beats Cancer, some nice company or companies will donate a dollar for every unique person who Blames Drew’s Cancer to the American Cancer Society and the Make a Wish Foundation.” (via http://blamedrewscancer.com)

This savvy individual decided to use his illness and the social media scene to fight back against cancer. Brilliant.

You can follow all of the blame by clicking here or going to search.twitter.com and searching #blamedrewscancer.

Help Drew win his battle with cancer by blaming all of your problems on that stupid cancer. All you have to do is tag your complaints with #blamedrewscancer to help get Drew’s cause noticed. Car won’t start? Blame Drew’s cancer. Catch your spouse cheating? Blame Drew’s cancer. Fired, divorced, hungover? You know what to do.

Hell, I just blamed Drew’s cancer for the lack of funds in my checking account. What will YOU blame it for?

Thx for the explanation. I’m too lazy 2 check it out for myself. I kept seeing the #drewscancer thought it was a joke. Now I am blaming it all on Drew’s Cancer…my thighs, my addiction to Krispy Kreme, insomnia, lack of energy, being laid-off, small government check…you get the picture!
