Yesterday at TehKu I organized a Tweetup for the benefit of Directions for Youth and Families. DFYF is a great local organization that helps central Ohio families and children make sound choices and achieve promising futures. Since it was at Tehku Tea House, I dubbed it… ChariTEA. (Goodness I’m brilliant. lulz.)
In addition to 10% of all purchases from the evening going to the organization, attendees were asked to take a handful of gloves with them to drop around town. Karin Oliver-Kreft from People To My Site explains:

Thanks to everyone who came for making it a fun, worthwhile event. Hopefully the 200 gloves we distributed will end up all over the city and garner attention for a worthy cause.
Attendees include @bettyb123 @MichaelCulver @jrrubinstein @JHamlin @Leann_Purdy @Wyliemac @kellygingery @jujuburd @marrip @DemetriusHall @WesComer @cafeco @kkreft @DemetriusHall @EmilyPGriffith @BryanGriffith @Inggrie_TehKu @dfyf… hope I’m not forgetting anyone!

Looks like I missed a good time. I just started frequenting Tehku recently. Very cool little tea shop in the heart of downtown Dublin.
