This is kind of a plug, but not the kind that gets me any money, so I’m sure you can find a way to make peace with it. Oh, and it’s something you might find incredibly useful, too.
The social media special interest group of the Columbus chapter of the American Marketing Association (whew that’s a long organization name!) has invited me and a few other social media rockstars from around Columbus to lead roundtable discussions at their next meeting on March 3rd.
Here are the topics and facilitators:
- Making Facebook Work for Business – Christy Williams
- Growing business through LinkedIn – Nate Riggs
- Twitterlicious – Cheryl Harrison (Hey, that’s me!)
- The Good, The Bad and the Blog – Tom Williams
- The Net worth of growing your network – Jason Velliquette
- Stop talking @them. Engage! – Andrew Spott
- Teetering between social and traditional marketing – Julia Kinslow
I’ll be leading up discussions about all things Twitter, ranging from the best Twitter tools to building your network to measuring ROI for your business. And, you know, whatever YOU want to know. That’s the beauty of a roundtable discussion - I don’t spend your time telling you what I think you should know, I spend it telling you what YOU think you should know. (And I don’t have to write a speech… ::grin::)
You can register for the AMA Social Media SIG roundtable discussions here and any questions about the event can be directed to Sandy Blanquera. Hope to see you there!
