Taking Social Media Offline: New Social Media Cards, Endless Possibilities!

A while ago I told you about a site called Enthusem, which believes that paper mail has a place in the wonderful world of social media. I certainly agreed, and have mailed out their original 5 social media-centric designs quite a few times.

As I said, I loved these, but I realized that I was mailing out these cards for very specific occasions - Tweetup invites, Thank-you’s, etc - so I sent @enthusem a message on Twitter, told them I had a few great ideas for new designs and got an almost-immediate response that they would start designing the new cards! And, a few weeks later, they’ve released ALL of my suggestions and even a few more!

Aren’t these AWESOME? I can think of a million new people to send these to now. They’re only $3 and cheaper, depending how many credits you buy, and I’m pretty sure you get a free card just for signing up.

The neatest thing about Enthusem, though, is you can put a “code” inside your cards, which the reciepient enters on Enthusems site to get access to whatever you want - sales collateral, your resume, a YouTube video, a printable coupon - the possibilities of what you can “attach” to your card are almost endless.

As I said before, I love these because they are attention grabbing in a world where every 8th degree connection sends you DM’s and Facebook messages and e-mails to get you to try their product, read their article, attend their event, etc, etc.

Check out Enthusem for yourself!

What do you think of the new (or the old) cards?

You are a mover & a shaker (but we all know that). I love your suggestions and they are lucky they took them and ran with them.
