A rough approximation of the email thread when Andrea from Modest Box asked me if I would be willing to curate a box with some of my favorite Ohio-made products:

Vagina jokes aside, I had so much fun picking the products for my Modest Box. The retail value of the box is $115, but they negotiated some good deals so they can sell it for $75, which includes shipping! The contents of the box are supposed to be a mystery but here are a few peeks. Shhh don’t tell Andrea.

Most importantly, $5 from every box sold goes to the cause of my choice, which is the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education. Arts educaton had a major impact on who I am today, but unfortunately the high school I attended is continually trying to cut arts programs because they’re jerkfaces so I support anyone trying to keep programs like the ones I was involved with from going away.
