Columbus: Media and Bloggers Twitter Lists

Early this year I posted a blog entry with all of the Twitter names of local media. At the time, it was the most effective way to share this directory with you. But many of those Twitter accounts have changed usernames or been deleted, and when manually changing over 100 list items became difficult, the list ceased to be an active and accurate directory.

However, Twitter recently added a “lists” feature into its interface, allowing users to group other users together in live, public, sharable lists. If you haven’t had a chance to use lists yet, Mashable has posted a good guide on how, and why, you would use lists.

I’ve set up three lists that I think you will all find valuable, especially if you’re a PR pro or information junkie like me.

To follow any of these lists, click the link and then click the “Follow this list” button at the top of the page.

You can also click the “following” link from the right sidebar to select individuals from each list to directly follow.

If there are any Central Ohio media, bloggers or restaurants/bars/entertainment venues missing from these lists, please let me know via a comment on this post or a message on Twitter.

If you’re looking for more quality lists to follow, check out Listorious, a directory of the best Twitter lists.

Cheers!

Thanks for putting this together and including me!

  2. Awesome idea! I am so in love with Twitter lists and I haven’t even had time to fully develop mine. Add me to the blogger list, pretty please.
